I've Seriously Missed This

Today I am at home with my family (minus the big brother cause he is in Reno gettin' his volleyball on). I got here around 9:30 and I have been going non stop ever since. My little brother had a baseball game today on "The Miracle Field" which is an adapted field for kids with special needs to play on. It is all flat with no grass or dirt so that wheel chairs can ride smoothly around the bases. It is incredible. 

Every player gets to hit every time and run all the bases. No hurt feelings, no outs, no strikes, and best of all no judging. Everyone cheers for everyone. It was so much fun! I'll have to post a picture up here soon. Bran did really well and hit the ball on his own every time he got up to bat!

After the game we went shopping as a family. We haven't done that in FOREVER since dad and little bro hate waiting around for us girls but they decided to buck up and come with us. It was fun. In the end guess who we all waited on????

We all got some cute stuff. Well... all of us but mom. She was worried about everyone else. Typical mom style. Good thing mother's day is coming up so that she can get treated like a princess for a day and not do a single thing. We'll do dishes and cook and give her gifts. It'll be great! Anyways back on track....

We went shopping and then got lunch at In-N-Out because the boys love it. Gotta compromise.

We came home and I had to clean up after my puppy in the backyard - if you know what I mean!

Then I went to the grocery store and got ingredients to make some treats. I made the treats, did dishes, and did my laundry all at the same time. So It has been busy busy busy. Now I am watching Legally Blonde and relaxing before I have to get back to the real world of life tomorrow. Well tonight when I go back to my apartment. Gotta love it! And I do!!

Thoughts

I have noticed that I am drawn and attracted to boys who

tend to push social constructs and promote individualism.

It is scary at first because they don't obey the "laws of society"

and that leaves room for ridicule.

People can be harsh.

But I love that they push the limits and that they don't care

what other people think. They are who they are.

Who am I to tell them they are wrong?

Who am I to judge them? 

Who am I to let society dictate my thoughts, beliefs, and relationships?

I want them to accept me for who I am so why wouldn't I return the favor?

It is just a way of self expression and we all have

our own way of going about it.

I want a man who is strong in what he believes is right.

I want a man who accepts others for who they are.

I want a man who has evidence and opinions for why he is the way he is.

I want a man who isn't afraid to be himself.

I want a man who motivates me to be myself and who makes it easy to do so.
